I’m really happy that the lyrics are so compatible with the picture. The boy on the left has holes on his “jacket”, and the other boy has a hat on. This song is obviously about poor people, in my interpretation, kids.
I started teaching farmers’ and fishermen’s kids way back when I was in fifth grade. It was a blessing to have come nose to nose with these kinds of kids. Being with them makes one realize how much the world needs people who, through a helping hand, can slowly bridge the widening gap between the rich and the poor. Everything actually begins there.
Jesus loves the little children, ALL the children of the world.
Yes, Jesus, let my heart be for them too.
